Asterisk tutorials, learn VoIP development and build your own applications like IVR, call center, conferencing, and PBX services. Sunday, 24 September 2017. HOW TO INSTALL YOUR IP PBX. Following these 5 simple steps: Installation. Create Users. IVR / Call Centre. Create a professional IVR and build a call centre to boost customer service. Configuring the IVR / Auto Attendant. Elastix uses cookies to enhance your experience. Asterisk for Raspberry Pi Brought to you. IVR then DISA then i can dial out from my Dongle (Exactly as type of set up i was looking, for call out). Is it possible that some one can update this detail tutorial? I'm using FreePBX 14 and Asterisk 13 and I am stuck on. Asterisk is the #1 open source communications toolkit. Asterisk powers IP PBX systems, VoIP gateways, conference servers, and is used by SMBs, enterprises, call centers, carriers and governments worldwide. Let's go ahead and apply what we've learned about the various dialplan applications by building a very simple auto-attendant menu. It is common practice to create an auto-attendant or IVR menu in a new context, so that it remains independant of the other extensions in the dialplan.
SOLVED
TLDR; Trying to Create a Automated Attendant that can take calls and Redirect users based on input Using an Existing phone line.
Current Position: Software is not installed, I need to know what kind of Card i need to purchase to allow this type of communication between the Software and the Phone Line. No, I don't know anything about actual VOIP systems, but im Trying to find a way to create this automated attendant to where it will redirect users to CELL PHONES and not phones in my network (Due to the nature of my company we do not have the ability to use Desk Phones only but plan on integrating Desk Phones when we hire more people to handle the customers/accounting)
Goal:
I'm trying to take an Existing phone line, Plugged into my server, and create this IVR.
I'm a new Business owner with ambition, We plan on expanding eventually but due to current budget we are extremely tight on cash.
I have a couple computers that i can set aside and use as the server for this, However after installing the software i have no where to go from here as the only things i can find is paid services that you have to pay for monthly for the attendant, Due to current position we cannot afford a monthly attendant
( due to just starting I have 10 Dollars to my name after everything needed is paid for, Yes i know that's a low number, but I'm young, came in with no money starting out, and already making more than my parents ever did, and i don't want that to be my limit either. I'm trying to get more customers and one of the things holding me back is my voice, I sound like a twelve year old however if I'm able to get an automated system i believe that the customers will be more inclined to work with me.)
Can somebody help me find a tutorial from the ground up on doing this? Or give me a General Idea of where to go or look up?
